4 teams from SMK Seri Bintang Selatan was qualified to the Regionals when they passed the criteria through the 5 pages portfolio. Among the teams was Lightning Blade, Infinity, Aerocurves and Darts Deviat.
The Central South Finals was held at Sekolah Berasrama Petaseh, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan from the 28th to the 30th of August. For the first time, SMK Seri Bintang Selatan representetive got through to National Finals when Team Lightning Blade won the Fastest Car Award and 2nd Runner Up. 
Lightning Blade: Choong Yee Wen, Amira Shafleena, Lau Chia Sing and Nadzirah Afiqah.
